During two years, Ximena was an extracurricular English teacher for fourth and second grade students on Saturdays, four hours a week, during which they improved their language skills for the school week.

Academic articles, Abstracts, Legal Documents, and others were translated by Ximena Restrepo since 2011.

For the duration of the Film and Literature Book Club, Ximena led a group of young adults and adults through a series of novels adapted to film which they discussed once a week.
